Laptop Internet Access Through Usage of WiMAX Technology in Afghanistan

WiMAX technology makes it possible to get laptop Internet access at excellent speeds. Although broadband connectivity by means of WiFi access is certainly great, the problem is that there are simply not enough WiFi hotspots in close proximity to each other. With hotspots being small, the coverage areas are a bit limited. WiMAX is the solution; it stands for Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access and is also sometimes referred to as 802.16. WiMAX is just as easy to use as WiFi. All that is needed for laptop Internet access is to be close to a WiMAX antenna, and with NEDA rolling out technologies throughout the major cities of Afghanistan, laptop Internet access by means of this technology is now possible in the country.
