Wireless Modem – How Does It Work?
The wireless modem is required for a computer user to connect to the Internet if a landline modem is not used. It connects to a wireless network rather than a landline system. The wireless modem connects directly to the NEDA wireless network by means of a satellite. The wireless router system is deployed to ensure that a wireless network is in place. The wireless modem receives and also transmits a signal to get access to the Internet. The wireless router splits the signal between one to many computers in its immediate signal area. This forms a wireless network. It can be a small home network or it can be an office or even public place network.
